Smart Card Sign-On Option Now Available

Meeting Monitor™ for Exchange users can now simply logon to room screens using either an on-screen keyboard or better still a standard SMART card (contactless RFID).

This provides 2 major benefits ;

1) Restrictions can be configured for each screen as to who can do what e.g. limit who can Smart Book the room or Check-Out of a session perhaps.

2) On-Screen reservations now record actual usage against a user name for reporting purposes.

Authentication can use an organisations' existing Active Directory user list or any other available LDAP directory.

If an organisation has an existing Smart card access control system we can normally provide complete compatibility to avoid having to administer a new card system and forcing users to carry multiple cards!
