that go beyond the standard Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes client or Google Calendar™
capability.
This is a major advantage over other proprietary systems that can
only offer one desktop booking system - this advantage we believe is vital in ensuring that an
investment in room and resource screens is future proofed to cover the inevitable changes in Room
booking system requirements. The QED Meeting Monitor™ screens and licences are fully transferable between all
the supported booking systems to provide this future proofed investment (just requires a current software
maintenance agreement).
These advanced solutions can provide features such
as;
Advanced Resource Scheduling - Provides searching by room type,
equipment, capacity, location etc e.g Find me a meeting room on the 1st floor in the Manchester office for
next Tuesday that seats 10 people and has a Video Conference facility.
Catering Orders - The ability to create a linked order for
catering and send this to the appropriate internal or external team.
Visitor Management - Capture of external visitor names during the
meeting booking process and pass these names to reception for badge printing and check-in on
arrival.
Room Layout Change Requests - For rooms with multiple layouts and
even joined rooms the ability to choose a layout and pass this request to the appropriate facility team. This
process should also add buffer times for set-up and cleardown to ensure a sufficient duration between
adjacent reservations.
